Mollie Katzen’s New Flexitarian presentation, for groups of 50 and up, combines the thoughtful and practical decision to make garden and orchard-based foods the center of your diet with the freedom either to keep it vegetarian or to include quality meats and fish for variety. The New Flexitarian plan is well balanced and practical, includes essential nutrients in every meal, and best of all ― it’s fabulously delicious and easy!

For the first time ever, Mollie is offering her presentation on the New Flexitarian ― designed for those who want to take charge of their food choices and make real change. Through a discussion of what it means to take charge of one’s diet to meal suggestions, recipes, special occasions, and dining out, Mollie’s New Flexitarian plan is designed to:

  • Coach you through the changeover to great food choices that feed and fuel your body and your mind,

  • Provide much-needed inspiration through fun, encouraging advice and numerous recipes,

  • Help you discover your inner culinary artist, and gain confidence through new cooking skills,

  • Answer your food choice questions about shopping, storage, and strategies - as well as cooking and eating, and

  •  Make you look and feel terrific!

Mollie is a “flexitarian” eater herself, preferring mostly vegetables, whole grains, nuts, eggs, cheese, and fruit, but she also eats quality meats and fish from time to time.  She ate a largely vegan diet for almost 18 years, and understands the need for varied approaches to healthy eating.  Her experience as a mother has been instructive – her son loves a good cut of meat but also adores vegetables, and her daughter is a devout vegetarian. As an advisor to college students of all eating persuasions, and as cooking teacher to preschoolers – as well as a diet advisor to people ranging in age all the way to 93, Mollie has seen it all!  She is an enthusiastic coach and her New Flexitarian presentation details an eating program to satisfy most every taste and lifestyle.
